The blueberry bran muffins are my absolute favorite but here are some of my other favorites as well!
To be honest this is a problem that I no longer have to deal with because I just recently got myself a great job with great pay. I did however at one point have this problem and I know exactly how much it sucks, you want to start eating healthy but you just do not have enough money to do so. Thankfully I found some resources online that really helped me like this great site and other awesome ones that I found as well. I figured why not make my own tips and I decided that I would. So here you go, here are 4 tips on how to eat healthy on a budget and lose weight. Drinking Water Is the most important thing you can do for your health. You should make sure that you have the best whole house water filter possible. You need to make sure your water intake is high and your water is clean and great tasting. The best whole house water filter can be a little hard to find at first but eventually you will find what you are looking for. There are so many water filters to choose from just be sure you do your research! 1. Potatoes And Eggs This Was incredibly useful to me when I had very little money and wanted to learn how to eat healthy on a budget and lose weight. It pretty much goes into all of those categories. They are both cheap, they are both good for you and eggs can help you lose some weight. Potatoes on the other hand are not so helpful for losing weight so I would recommend not eating too much of them but they are alright on occasion. 2. Make Your Own Food Start doing some gardening in your back yard if you are short for cash, you can always get some cheap seeds at the local farmers market. You can grow pretty much anything you want as long as you have enough space. I have tomatoes, carrots and green beans growing in my back yard right now and it saves me a little bit of extra cash. Pretty awesome if you ask me, plus its all FRESH! Learning how to eat healthy on a budget and lose weight has never been so fun! 3. Eat More Bananas Bananas are the cheapest fruit available to anybody, you can get about 6 full bananas for about 1.75 at your local grocery story. You can use these to make yourself breakfasts and even with some snacks like cereal or granola. Bananas go great with a lot of things and they are super cheap and healthy for you so its a win win situation! 4. Saving Leftovers When you make dinner for the night and there is food leftover NEVER throw it away. Unless its going to go bad that night it can be used for the next day and with some meals a few days. I usually just heat up my dinner and eat it again the next night. You can also make completely new meals with them, check out these creative ways to re use your leftovers CookSmarts.com So I taught myself how to eat healthy on a budget and lose weight and hopefully you can do so as well.
